Born and raised in Southern California, Julie Aiono is the mother of 5 adult children, and grandmother of 5. She has always had a passion for motherhood and babies, often saying as a child that she “wanted 10 little girls.” Happily married to her high school sweetheart, as Julie raised her family she often found herself assisting other moms in the care of their little ones, and eventually became a nanny. She has years of experience working with singletons and multiples, including twins and quadruplets.
After taking time off to help care for her grandchildren, she decided it was time to pursue her goal of becoming a Postpartum Doula. Julie is trained and certified through CAPPA. Her extensive training includes specialization in multiples and preemies. She is infant, child and adult CPR & First Aid Certified. Always pursuing additional training and education, she hopes to soon become certified as a Breastfeeding Consultant and Labor Doula to better provide for the families she is privileged to help.
